Abstract

The orientation of the educational process on the harmonious combination of rational-semantic and emotionalvolitional spheres of students encourages teachers to strengthen the emotional and value component of learning, enrich the emotional and sensory experience of primary school pupils. The aim of the study is theoretical analysis and coverage of practical aspects of enriching the emotional and sensory experience of elementary school students in reading lessons. Methods such as the analysis of philosophical, psychological and pedagogical scientific sources to clarify the essence of the concepts, systematization and generalization of data to identify the state of the problem were used. The definitions of the basic concepts «experience», «emotional experience», «sensory experience», «emotional-sensory experience» are analyzed. The understanding of the concept of «emotional and sensory experience of junior high school students» as a set of ideas, knowledge, skills, abilities in the emotional sphere, acquired in the process of direct practical interaction with the world, defining the system of attitudes and values. The functions of emotional and sensory experience are presented: value-oriented, emotional, motivational, evaluative, developmental, communicative. The semantic components of emotional and sensory experience, features of its enrichment in primary school age are determined. The main skills of students of 3-4 grades in the study of language and literature education, which relate to the enrichment of emotional and sensory experience in reading lessons in accordance with the State Standard of Primary Education. The ways of enriching the emotional and sensory experience of junior schoolchildren in the lessons of literary reading, the directions of work with the work of art are offered. It is concluded that there is a significant potential for reading lessons to enrich the emotional and sensory experience of younger students.
