FEATURES OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES OF A FUTURE MUSIC TEACHER IN THE CONTEXT OF MODERN CONDUCTING AND CHORAL TRAINING

Abstract

The article deals with the main professional competencies of a future music teacher (applicant for higher education), which are formed in the context of conductor and choral training and are relevant in today's conditions. The author analyzes the latest publications and research on the chosen topic. The purpose of the article is to highlight the relevance of introducing the basic principles of management into the conducting and choral training of a future music teacher of a general secondary education institution. The methodology of the article is based on scientific research and analysis of literary sources, using the analytical method to review the latest research and publications in the structure of conducting and choral education and performance. The main components of successful conducting activity are considered, including conducting and manual technique, vocal and instrumental skills, the ability to interpret musical material, personal qualities of the leader (empathy, ability to communicate, psychological stability, stress resistance, authoritarianism, certain civic and social positions). The expediency of introducing basic management functions into the conducting and choral training of students is argued, including: providing material and technical conditions, organizing socio-cultural activities and financial support, creating a psychological and emotional climate, popularizing and promoting the choir on the Internet. The importance of symbiosis of these functions into a single whole and their combination with related disciplines that have no connection with the musical arts is substantiated. The conclusions emphasize the positive value of the practical application of these qualities in the formation of future specialists, in particular those who will work with artistic groups in preschool, general secondary or higher education institutions.
