Abstract

In the modern musical space, attention is focused on the use of new technologies and innovative approaches to the creation of sound material. One of the most relevant trends in this context is the study and development of the sonorous parameter in accordion music. The perception of the accordion as a new instrumental and timbre project requires a detailed analysis of its sound, features, and possibilities in modern conditions. A new degree of renewal and enrichment of the language of contemporary accordion and bayan music is clearly demonstrated by changes in the system of expressive means, among which a prominent role belongs to compositional techniques, this attribute and symbol of contemporary music. They reflect the general trend of the musical-historical process, which consists in a new sense of time and the search for a concept of art that corresponds to it, associated with the development of musical thinking. Its current state reveals a special inclination towards new compositional technologies, which can be observed in the works of representatives of the avant-garde wing of Ukrainian accordion music – Tseppolenko, Zahaykevych, Shchetynsky, Poleva, Gomelska, Samodayeva, Taranenko, and others. The music of these composers is marked by a vividly innovative accent, which changed the imperative of traditionalism of the accordion music of the past into a powerful outpouring of musical exclusivity, brightly coloured by the latest technologies. Understanding technique in a broad sense as an art, it is logical to recognise its involvement in new forms of contemporary thinking of composers, their particular worldview and the way they embody new content. New times have led to the emergence of new images and means of their embodiment in art. The aim of this work is to conduct a thorough analysis and systematization of the sonority parameter in contemporary bayan and accordion music in order to identify its potential capabilities and influence on musical expression. Methodology. The study is based on a comprehensive analysis of modern approaches to the study of the sonorous parameter in music. Starting with a detailed analysis of literary sources and scientific publications, the theoretical models and concepts related to the sound of the accordion were investigated. In addition, audiative analysis was used in writing the paper. Recordings of various musical compositions performed on the accordion were studied, focusing on the reproduction of the sonorous parameter and its influence on the overall emotional perception of music The scientific novelty lies in the attempt to analyze the sonority parameter in the context of modern bayan music as an important instrumental-timbral project. Conclusions: The research results provide compelling evidence that the sonority parameter is a key component in modern bayan music. It influences the audience's perception and elicits an emotional response.
