EXPOSITION AND EXHIBITION MUSEUM PROJECTS ON THE FORMATION OF THE CONCEPT OF UKRAINIAN NATIONAL AND CULTURAL IDENTITY

Abstract

The purpose of the article. The purpose of the work is to present a modern view on the formation of the concept of Ukrainian national identity in the exposition and exhibition space of Ukraine during the Russian-Ukrainian war 2022‒2024. Modern expositions are a space for dialogue about the past and future, serve as an important means of visual communication, where the image of the country, its history, traditions and values is formed through the selection and presentation of exhibition materials. Such expositions form a positive image of the country both among Ukrainians and among the international community, promoting mutual understanding and cultural diplomacy. In the article, we systematically approach the analysis of exhibition projects in the city of Kyiv, which are aimed at forming the national identity of Ukrainians. The methodological basis. The research methodology is based on the application of general scientific and special methods of cognition such as the system approach, analysis, synthesis, generalization, content analysis. Using the method of synthesis and generalization, we identify key trends in the creation of modern exhibition projects, establish methodological principles in the development and implementation of exhibition expositions aimed at the formation of the national identity of Ukrainians. Scientific novelty of the article. The scientific novelty of the article lies in the expansion of ideas about the current state of exposition and exhibition space in Ukraine, by means of new exhibition mixed online and offline formats that contribute to the formation of national identity; its transformation during the war, considering the actual requests for documentation of events in Ukraine. Conclusions of the article. The article presents the concept of Ukrainian national identity in the exposition and exhibition space of Ukraine during the war 2022‒2024 using the example of current exhibition projects that characterize the modern museum space. It has been established that the formation of the concept of Ukrainian national identity in the modern exhibition space is full of transformations and needs to be understood, analyzed and studied. Based on the understanding of the concept of the proposed projects, such as assimilation, understanding and their further development and the features of interaction with visitors, it is possible to establish the expediency of the research of expositions and exhibitions museum practices that have been formed during the war 2022-2024. It was established that museum practices underwent significant transformations during the war, which requires a new way of documenting and researching this issue. The need to create a methodological model for recording and documenting historical events has been proven. The need for innovative formats of exhibition and exposition projects is identified: 3D modeling, AR and VR technologies, in mixed online and offline events, quests, reconstructions, workshops, theatrical attractions, etc.
