THREAD DESIGN BY ARTIST RADA VRONSKA AS A WAY OF SELF-EXPRESSION AND FULFILMENT OF SPIRITUAL NEEDS IN HARMONY AND BEAUTY OF A CREATIVE PERSONALITY

Abstract

The article reveals and comprehends the work of the artist Rada Vronska in the technique of thread design and thematic formation, which is the purpose of the presented research. The artistic works are reviewed in the aspect of the historical formation and development of the technique of thread design (string art) in European countries. The terminology of definitions is given. The artistic embodiment of the idea takes place in technologies of handcraft. In the following studies, it is planned to analyse the artist’s works in comparison with artistic works made by means of generative technologies. The use of counting and creative systems shapes the experience of consuming generated art according to the feelings of harmony and beauty given to a person. In the analysis of the artist’s works, the methods of visual comparison, processing of historical information, outlining the artistic value of such a creative array in the culture of Ukraine and prognostic predictions of the further development of Vronska’s artistic work are used. The emphasis of the study is on the peculiarities of perception and display of changes in colour shades by means of the string art technique. It is determined that the artist’s sophisticated colour sense helps to evoke positive emotional moods in the audience – art lovers and satisfies their aesthetic preferences. Also, Rada Vronska’s work has been recognised by participation in prestigious exhibitions both in Ukraine and abroad, which is confirmed by diplomas of the winner and participant. The presentation of creative works I the technique of thread design in international exhibitions and competitions, for example, «Generation of War» (Krakov, Poland), makes the artist’s name known in Europe and reveals the invincibility of the people of Ukraine.
