SUBJECT-SPATIAL DESIGN OF THE ORGANIZATION OF THEOLOGICAL INFRASTRUCTURE OF THE INTERIOR OF THE CHURCH OF THE RESURRECTION, UHERSKE VILLAGE

Abstract

The role and figurative and aesthetic function of the integration of modern murals in the complex design-conception of the theological infrastructure of the historical interiors of temples are highlighted. The main methods, means and features of the use of modern frescoes for the formation of subject-spatial design on the example of the Church of the Resurrection with. Uherske (Yablunivka) in Lviv region, arch. O. Lopushansky, T. Obminsky, 1910–1913. The aim is to outline the main directions, methods and approaches of application of modern subject-spatial design proposals for the transformation of the historical interior. The subject of the research is the design and execution of murals in 2006–2008 to update and decorate the interior of a certain historical sacred object of architecture. The methodological basis of the article is formed on the historical and systemic principle, using the methods of analysis, statistics, comparison and generalization. It was found that in order to form a successful adaptation of a modern project in the context of existing elements of historical sacred space, it is necessary at the stage of pre-project analysis to outline principles, approaches, conceptual structuring of preserved or archival authentic archetypes to form an author’s prototype. The relevance of the article is due to the representation of new principles and approaches in the design of functional spaces using the interpretation and transformation of historical analogues, including ethnocultural and present authorial art artifacts, which are increasingly becoming a priority in the alternative, “niche” segment of simple identification environment. The novelty lies in the introduction of theoretical scientific and methodological developments in design project practice for the direction 022 “Design”, in particular in such a relevant segment of the sacred subject-spatial design.
