SOME RESEARCH ASPECTS OF THE MUSICAL CULTURE IN VINNYTSIA REGION: ITS ACTUAL STATE, TRENDS, EXPECTATIONS

Abstract

Ukrainian modern scientific activities pay special attention to the unique regional art and culture, its development and problem. Vinnytsia Region or Vinnytchyna in Central Ukraine is well-known for its heritage of professional academic choral performance as well as musical education and opera and theater art. Vinnytsia musical culture has been the aim of scientific research in the past and nowadays. The article has analyzed these scientific researches according to the main aspects of the musical culture of Vinnytsia region. Purpose of Research: to determine the main ways of exploration into the musical culture of Vinnytsia, to clarify the actual state, trends and expectations for the further study of this phenomenon. Methodology is based on such scientific methods as analysis, synthesis, and generalization. The historiographical approach allows to analyze the available data about Vinnytsia musical culture including such aspects as musical education and professional academic choral art. Scientific novelty deals with the determinatioin and generalization of scientific achievements in the study of various aspects of Vinnytsia musical culture as an important part of whole Ukrainian national culture. Conclusions. The main directions of Vinnytsia musical culture research have been determined. It is possible to study such aspects as the peculiarities of regional professional academic choral and instrumental art, the process of formation and development of Vinnytsia musical education, opera and theater art, creative activity of Vinnytsia prominent artists; the regional music contests and festival movement; the problems of regional musical folklore; the peculiarities of separate cultural institutions activity, musical public organizations and their influence on the regional musical and cultural development. Further exploration of the topic can find more important facts about innovative forms and methods of cultural institution activity, art educational establishments and dynamics of Vinnytsia modern music development. It helps to create the complete image of the whole national culture in the diversity of its regional aspects.
