ARTISTIC ACTIVITY OF THE NATIONAL HONORED CHAPEL OF BANDURISTS OF UKRAINE NAMED BY H. MAYBORODY DURING THE PERIOD OF MARTIAL LAW

Abstract

Recent world events have radically changed the lives of people in different countries. The culture of Ukraine was also greatly influenced. The tendency to turn to authentic cultural samples has become very common. Some artists modernize Ukrainian folk works by arranging and processing them. Others restore the compositions of past years in their original form. Such artistic activity contributes to the fruitful development of Ukrainian art. During the martial law in Ukraine, the art of music continues to exist in order to maintain culture and raise the patriotic spirit of the country's citizens. Today it is very important to spread Ukrainian art outside of Ukraine. This is necessary so that the people of the world can distinguish our nation from others. Ukrainian art should be recognized all over the world, just like the art of other countries. This will contribute to the world community's interest in everything Ukrainian and will affect the preservation of one's own national identity. We must protect, improve and continue Ukrainian musical traditions. After all, it contributes to national unity, which is very relevant today. The purpose of the article is to highlight the artistic activity of the National Bandurist Chapel named after H. Maiboroda in the conditions of martial law as an important factor in the unification of nations, strengthening of patriotism and recognition of Ukrainian culture in the world. The National Honored Bandurists' Chapel named after H. Maiboroda is a unique group with over a century of history. The chapel actively popularizes Ukrainian art. The scientific novelty of the research consists in the examination of the artistic activity of the chapel during the period of modern martial law in Ukraine. The research methodology is based on the use of general scientific and historical methods, such as: systematic approach, historical method, methods of theoretical data systematization, analysis and synthesis. Conclusions. The National Honored Bandurists' Chapel of Ukraine named after H. Maiboroda is one of the most unique ensembles of Ukraine. Today, bandurists work diligently on the artistic front, popularizing Ukrainian musical culture abroad. They held many charity concerts in European countries (Austria, Germany, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary), expressing gratitude for the help to our state. Their active artistic activity contributes to the interest in Ukrainian culture, the unity of the nation, the strengthening of the patriotism of Ukrainians, and the nurturing of the identity of our cultural heritage.
