The aim of the article is to reveal the essence and highlight the possibilities of informational and educational campaigns in preventing domestic violence. Analysis of scientific, journalistic, reference sources, internet resources, generalization, and systematization of material allowed to conclude that such campaigns play an important role in drawing public attention to a topic that often suffers from silence and stigma. The content and purpose of informational and educational campaigns are to increase awareness, which includes efforts aimed at raising the level of knowledge about the causes and consequences of various types of violence, combating attitudes, beliefs, and norms that tolerate domestic violence, as well as informing people about relevant laws, policies, services, and rights. Key points of informational activities include the following: increasing awareness as a mandatory condition and foundation for preventing violence; considering the possibilities of an informational and educational approach; understanding the limitations of such activities; developing effective awareness-raising measures. It has been established that the most powerful international and national campaigns are interactive campaigns. They attract viewers' attention and make them reflect on the seriousness of the problem. Such campaigns can range from infiltrating the marketing sphere and placing relevant information on goods and products to installing advertising and informational billboards, vending machines with information about combating violence. Other campaigns against domestic violence seek to attract public attention using recognizable iconography. When the viewer encounters something familiar, the problem seems much more real. Examples of such campaigns are given, which include images of well-known characters, such as princesses who have experienced violence, Barbie dolls with bruises and bloody cartoon heroes, or photos of real or famous people, etc.
