SOCIAL AND PEDAGOGICAL ACTIVITIES IN A MILITARY CONTEXT

Abstract

The article presents the actual content of the professional activity of a social pedagogue of an educational institution in protecting the rights of children and youth in wartime. Based on the analysis, systematization and synthesis of scientific and practical information on the areas of activity of a social pedagogue in an educational institution in the current conditions of countering the Russian invasion, the peculiarities of socio-pedagogical support for children and parents, it is established that the content of socio-pedagogical activity in wartime is determined by the specifics of social problems caused by the consequences of Russian aggression; special conditions for organizing the educational process in view of the need to comply with security conditions; expanding the range of vulnerable categories. Modern socio-pedagogical activities should be aimed at forming knowledge among students, parents and teachers about socio-political events and measures taken to resolve the situation; preparing to counteract the information war; working with vulnerable groups; assisting in establishing family ties; counteracting various manifestations of violence and abuse, helping to preserve family integrity and increasing the degree of readiness of families to solve problems and overcome difficulties. The possibilities of specialized online platforms in optimizing social and pedagogical activities, in particular, the “Consultation Center of the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights” and the “Children of War” platform, are revealed. It is proved that the important responsibilities of a social pedagogue of an educational institution are social and socio-pedagogical support of students, information, educational, advisory and preventive work with participants in the educational process, analysis of social conditions for the development of students, and establishment of cooperation between organizations and institutions involved in solving social problems.
