VETERAN ENTREPRENEURSHIP, ITS ESSENCE AND FEATURES

Veterans' entrepreneurship is an important component of the socio-economic reintegration of veterans, contributing to their financial independence, professional self-realisation and strengthening the economy. The increase in the number of veterans as a result of russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine has made it necessary to develop effective mechanisms for their entrepreneurial activity. The article reveals the essential characteristics of veteran entrepreneurship, its connection with such terminology as entrepreneurship, veteran business, social reintegration, social support, and social protection. It is noted that in practice, the development of veteran entrepreneurship depends both on the personal qualities of a veteran and on the conditions created by the State and society. The combination of intrinsic motivation and effective support can significantly increase the success of veterans, deeply understand the peculiarities of the veteran environment and assess their readiness for entrepreneurship. The ability to network in veteran entrepreneurship is manifested in the ability of veterans to effectively build and maintain professional relationships that contribute to the development of their business. The terminological system of ‘veteran entrepreneurship-veteran business’ and ‘social reintegration-social support- social protection’ was clarified. The study has shown that the essence of veteran entrepreneurship is the creation and conduct of entrepreneurial activities by veterans, taking into account their military experience, adaptation skills, stress resistance and certain motivation. The study also found that the key factors for the success of veteran businesses are government support, access to financial resources, networking, educational programmes and mentoring. The development of veteran entrepreneurship is an important area of state policy and public support, which contributes not only to the self- realisation of veterans, but also to strengthening the economic potential of the country.
