SYSTEM OF SOCIAL GUARANTEES FOR UKRAINIAN LABOR MIGRANTS IN POLAND

The article examines the state of labor migration in Ukraine, the general motivators for citizens to go abroad. The aim of the work is to investigate what social guarantees the Republic of Poland provides for workers from Ukraine. To achieve this goal it is necessary to perform the following tasks: 1) To analyze the statistics of Ukraine on international labor migration by such sources as: a) GosStat, b) UkrStat; 2) To analyze the social guarantees provided by employers from Poland for our citizens in three areas: (agriculture, construction and hotel and restaurant business). The object of the study is the system of social guarantees provided by the employer in Poland for workers from Ukraine. The subject of the research is specific social guarantees that Poland provides to workers from Ukraine. The methodological basis of scientific research is the method of scientific knowledge, research of domestic and foreign authors in the field of migration and social guarantees, data of the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine, periodicals. The scientific novelty of the research results is as follows: the main theoretical and methodological approaches to migration risks are generalized and deepened. Measures to minimize labor migration through the coordinated work of key institutions of power – the President, the Cabinet of Ministers and the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine – are proposed. The practical significance of the obtained results is that the conclusions and recommendations presented in the work can be applied by public authorities and business entities in order to activate the internal labor market and create more favorable working conditions in Ukraine. The authors concluded that the level of income and social guarantees for Ukrainian migrants in Poland are generally attractive and motivating to work in this country. Thus, the state of Ukraine needs to systematically establish work on social protection of workers, which includes both economic and non-economic motivators.
