STRUCTURE AND CHARACTERISTICS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

Abstract

A theoretical analysis of scientific papers on the structure and characteristics of domestic violence was conducted. The purpose of the article is to reveal the essence and highlight the features of domestic violence. The methodological component is represented by general theoretical and methodological provisions, philosophical provisions on the relationship of social and psychological phenomena in the manifestations of various types of violence; leading ideas of modern philosophy, sociology, pedagogy and psychology; concepts of domestic and foreign scientists to reveal the essence of domestic violence; principles of a reflexive approach to understanding the peculiarities of domestic violence against women. The scientific achievements of scientists on the issue of domestic violence are summarized. The essence of domestic violence is revealed. The structure of domestic violence is distinguished, which consists of components: psychological (purposeful manipulation of the victim’s consciousness), economic (deprivation of economic independence), physical (use of physical force to inflict bodily harm), leisure (forcing the victim to rest as needed). abuser), medical (intentional actions of the offender to avoid, ignoring the needs of a woman in need of medical care), household (forcing a woman to recognize only the interests of the offender, unequal distribution of domestic responsibilities), sexual (satisfaction of sexual desires without consent of the woman). Signs of domestic violence are described. It is concluded that this definition is the subject of study of many sciences, in particular, social pedagogy. The peculiarities of the researched problems are mainly the hidden nature of domestic violence, the systematic and long-term action of the offender on the object of violence, the lack of certain age, social or social framework. It has been proven that the problem of domestic violence is one of the most acute in modern society and at the same time has a significant historical background.
