PREVENTION OF VANDALISM OF ADOLESCENTS IN TERMS OF SECONDARY SCHOOL ESTABLISHMENT

Abstract

The article substantiates the importance of social prevention of vandalism in the adolescent environment. The purpose of the study was to determine the features of social prevention of adolescent vandalism in the conditions of a secondary education institution based on the analysis of the content of destructive personality behavior. To achieve the goal, theoretical methods were applied: analysis and synthesis of psychological-pedagogical, social-pedagogical, methodical sources to reveal the concept of vandalism and its content; comparison, generalization, specification to determine the features, essence and content of prevention of teenage vandalism. The essence of vandalism as an aggressive, illegal behavior of an individual in adolescence is revealed. Emphasis is placed on taking into account the age, psychological-pedagogical, and individual characteristics of teenagers when conducting preventive work in the conditions of a secondary education institution. Types of social prevention of adolescent vandalism are characterized. The expediency of using a behavioral model of prevention, as well as its implementation using both traditional and innovative methods and forms of work, has been proven. The scientific novelty of the study was the determination of the features of the prevention of adolescent vandalism in the conditions of a secondary education institution. The prospects of further scientific research aimed at clarifying the socio-pedagogical conditions of preventive work are outlined.
