This article discusses the specific features of social workers' interactions with various population groups. For people with disabilities, the ability to create accessible environments and provide assistance in overcoming physical barriers is crucial. Pensioners, on the other hand, need support not only in accessing resources but also in psychological support that helps combat isolation and loneliness. Working with children requires a special approach, particularly sensitivity and active listening. It is also important to consider cultural and ethnic differences when interacting with migrants and minority groups, as they require sensitivity to their specific needs and traditions. Particular attention is given to the ongoing development of social workers' professional skills. The article offers several recommendations for improving professional training, including the development of emotional intelligence, intercultural competence, and continuing education. Special emphasis is placed on mastering digital technologies, which are becoming indispensable in modern social work, as well as providing psychological support for social workers themselves to prevent burnout and stress. In addition, the article emphasizes the need for a comprehensive approach to the training of social workers, which involves not only theoretical knowledge but also practical skills. Social workers must be equipped with the ability to work in various crisis situations, apply psychological techniques for emotional support, and effectively communicate with clients from diverse backgrounds. Moreover, the importance of creating a system for ongoing professional development is highlighted, as social work is a dynamic field that constantly evolves in response to new social challenges and technological advancements. By fostering a culture of lifelong learning and supporting social workers' well-being, the quality of social work can be continuously enhanced, ensuring the provision of high-quality services to vulnerable populations. The implementation of these approaches will help ensure effective support for vulnerable groups, improve the quality of social services, and contribute to the better integration of people with special needs into society.
