Abstract

In this article the psycholinguistic research is proposed, which is fulfilled in order to define and analyze the general evolutional changes that concerns any language in the process of it’s development. The idea of famous scientist Lucien Levi-Brule about the possibility of languages’ division into ancient and developed served as a primary hypothesis for this research. In the theoretical part of this research the evolutional peculiarities of English, German, African Suahilli and ancient Papua languages are described and analyzed. Using the scientific works of European, Russian and Ukrainian scholars, the following fact was proved that the division of languages into ancient and developed will be in any case conditional and very subjective. At the same time one real tendency was proved, which declares that older languages reflect any set of events less compact and clumsier. In the empirical part of this research the famous texts from Bible on Latin, Ukrainian and on Oldslavik languages were compared. In the practical part the fact of significant difference in the reflection of the same plot between Ukrainian and Oldslavik was found and argued. At the same time the analogical difference between the Ukrainian and the Latin or between the Latin and Oldslavik languages appeared to be too weak for taking into the scientific account. The described research gave us enough facts and arguments to declare the existence of the phenomenon of lingual structures’ optimization as some tendency that has influence on the evolutional language development. But this defined tendency can not be regarded as axiom, which expresses itself in any concrete example.
