ORGANIZATION OF PRACTICE OF APPLICANTS FOR EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL PROGRAMS OF THE FIRST (BACHELOR) LEVEL OF HIGHER EDUCATION, SPECIALTY 231 SOCIAL WORK

Abstract

Analysis of modern trends in the development of the specialty 231 Social work, the needs of the labor market and the specifics of the provision of social services in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic and the state of war in the country, led to the need to review and update the substantive component of the practice of applicants, mastering them with new skills and technologies. The purpose of the article is to characterize the peculiarities of the organization of the practice of applicants in the educational programs of the first (bachelor) level of higher education, specialty 231 Social work the Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University. The parties responsible for the organization and conduct of the practice of the acquirers and the forms of their interaction have been determined. The types of practice are characterized according to the educational programs "Social Work", "Social Pedagogy" and "Social Advocacy": educational, production, production (trainee) practices. The organizational algorithm, conditions of practice, duration, evaluation criteria are described. According to the authors of the article, during the training of future social workers, it is important to shift the emphasis from the accumulation of knowledge to the formation of a baggage of skills to act in practice, using the acquired theoretical knowledge. This is possible due to the solution of specific tasks of practice by students in the process of studying educational disciplines, which contributes to the formation of the system of professional skills of future specialists, a holistic idea of the peculiarities of social work with various recipients of social services.
