PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES OF SOCIAL WORK SPECIALISTS IN CHILDREN'S AFFAIRS SERVICES

Abstract

The article highlights the professional activities of social work specialists in the Children's Services. It was found that social services are enterprises, institutions and organizations regardless of the forms of ownership and management. The interpretation of the term «social worker» is highlighted – it is a professionally trained specialist who has the necessary qualifications in the field of social work and performs various types of social work. It is noted that a good specialist in the field of social work is a person who has a full higher education in the specialty 231 Social work. It is indicated that this specialist can hold the following positions: social worker, social pedagogue; childhood protection inspector; Methodist educator; teacher's assistant; manager of social work; teacher-consultant; head of an amateur association; head of a specialized social service; cult organizer of children's and after-school institutions; head of office; educator; head of the center; organizer of extracurricular and extracurricular educational work; social work specialist; head of the dormitory; head of the mother and child room. It is described that the work of a social worker in the Children's Services is aimed at the implementation of the Laws of Ukraine «On bodies and services for children and special institutions for children», «On ensuring organizational and legal conditions for the social protection of orphans and children deprived of parental care». «On the Protection of Childhood», «On Local Self-Government in Ukraine», Decrees and Instructions of the President of Ukraine, Resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine «Issues of Activities of Guardianship and Care Bodies Related to the Protection of Children's Rights», «Procedure for Implementation of Adoption Activities and Implementation of Supervision on the observance of the rights of adopted children», Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine «On ensuring social protection of children who are in difficult life circumstances». The work of the Children's Services is highlighted, and the main tasks of the service are highlighted. A number of administrative services provided by the Children's Service are listed.
