NON-CLASSICAL FORMS OF SOCIAL WORK WITH INTERNALLY DISPLACED PERSONS

Abstract

The relevance of the outlined topic is determined by the current social and political situation in Ukraine (military aggression of Russia against Ukraine, migration of the population – victims of the war, indicators of internally displaced persons, which officially number 5 million people as of March 2023). The scientific article substantiates the expediency of using non-classical (informal) forms of social work with internally displaced persons and presents a brief description of these forms. Taking into account the scientific achievements of Ukrainian scientists dealing with the problems of organizing social work with internally displaced persons and the author's personal experience, ten non-classical forms of social work with internal migrants were singled out. Among the most interesting are the following forms: the work of social work specialists in treatment and rehabilitation centers, operational interaction and cooperation in the neighborhood where forced migrants live, a psychological-social-pedagogical council, the participation of social workers in the work of acmeological training centers, supervision of self-help groups for internal migrants, urgent social services for internally displaced persons with the help of social networks and new information technologies, consultative and educational and methodical support of interest clubs for internally displaced persons, social and mobile support for internally displaced persons with special needs. Finally, the forms of social work with internal migrants in European countries were outlined and the prospects for further research were indicated.
