DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIAL PROJECTS AS A RESULT OF THE ACTIVITIES OF SOCIAL WORKERS

Abstract

In Ukraine, especially during the war, as well as after the war, there are and will be many social problems. Social workers who work in communities, in governmental and non-governmental organizations, can solve clients' problems by using projects. Social workers, like no one else, understand the problems of their clients, but often do not have the financial or other resources to solve them or help clients. After the creation of official communities, it became possible to receive funding to solve the problems of not only specific groups, but also communities. The social representatives of communities can create and implement social projects. We all plan our lives, dream and try to turn our dreams into reality with our own projects. Likewise, social projects are our dreams, visions, planning – how to make certain people's lives better. The article explains what a social project is. Modern literature provides knowledge on writing business projects, but there are certain differences between business and social projects, and they are presented in this article. Also, this article presents the current problems that exist in Ukraine, to which efforts must be directed. The article provides recommendations for resource selection and budgeting, as this is an important part of the project proposal, but it is precisely in these that mistakes are often made. The presented sample of the project implementation plan is useful, which will help both the project team and donors to see the future project in action and in time. Donors and sponsors have certain requirements and forms that must be filled out to receive funding, but all the components listed in the article are included in writing a project application, so their description is important when writing a project. The description of the components of a social project is useful not only for those who want to participate in writing projects, but also for teachers and students studying disciplines related to design or implementation of projects.
