FORMATION OF THE NATIONAL CONSCIOUSNESS OF UKRAINIANS IN THE CONTEXT OF SOCIAL AND CHOREOGRAPHIC PROJECTS IN THE CONTEXT OF WAR

Abstract

The article describes the relationship between the concepts of "people" and "nation", and "individual consciousness" and "national consciousness". The stages of consciousness formation are analysed and the peculiarities of the formed national consciousness of Ukrainians are identified. The parities of behaviour depending on the formation of a person's national consciousness are revealed; the problems of forming national consciousness in the conditions of war are noted; an example of the formation of national consciousness in the process of project activity is given as a practical experience of preparing choreographers to work in educational institutions. The chain of the system of formation of national customs, traditions, and culture is described. Higher education is considered as a step towards enriching a person with knowledge of the national and social environment, familiarisation with the general culture. The significance of the national paradigm in the educational process for the development of spiritual and moral qualities of the individual is revealed, as well as the increased importance of the normative and value components. It is determined that systemic education and upbringing forms «personal consciousness», and that project-based learning forms «national consciousness». An example of project activity on the topic "Creative path of choreographers, choreographers of Ukraine" is given. It is summarised that a comprehensive system of measures is needed to promote the formation of a person's national consciousness throughout his or her life. The project activity of the choreographer ensures the assimilation of national customs, traditions, artistic and cultural achievements in the system, the full development of skills and their practical application and, most importantly, the formation of the following final components of national consciousness as behavioural and activity.
