FOREIGN EXPERIENCE OF BULLYING PREVENTION

In modern conditions, the problem of violent communication among children and adolescents is gaining relevance. In society, bullying is often defined as behavior typical of schoolchildren. Bullying is a widespread phenomenon that often becomes an obstacle to achieving the goal of comprehensive development of a child. Increased anxiety, impact on the emotional state of the population, stress level, irritability, aggressive behavior, etc. In this regard, the topic of psychological, social and emotional support for teenagers who are experiencing stress from military events, changes in the city, school, loss of friends and loved ones is becoming even more relevant. An educational institution plays an important role in creating conditions for students to acquire knowledge in a safe educational environment, forming attitudes and skills that are needed to avoid and prevent manifestations of violence, conflict-free communication, and non-violent behavior. The article updates the problem of bullying in an educational institution. An analysis of the scientific views of scientists regarding the problem of bullying was carried out. Typical signs of bullying and its types are defined. The main causes and consequences of bullying are analyzed. The foreign experience in the prevention of bullying is considered and the effective forms and methods of work aimed at the prevention of bullying are characterized. The author of the article came to the conclusion that the study of a socially negative phenomenon such as bullying is currently relevant; it is urgent to make changes to the system of bullying prevention in educational institutions and develop new forms and methods of work that are used in foreign practices. The solution of the mentioned problems actualizes the issue of creating a safe educational environment in educational institutions, based on foreign experience and best practices in the prevention of bullying.
