STRATEGIC GUIDELINES FOR SOCIAL EDUCATION OF CHILDREN AND YOUTH IN THE INFORMATION SOCIETY OF RISK

Abstract

The article explores the influence of the information society on the socialization of individual. The main risks and challenges of the modern world, including mass manipulation of consciousness, which causes intellectual and worldview chaos and becomes the cause of aberrational socialization are defined. The strategic guidelines for social education of the growing generation in the information society of risk have been substantiated. Their implementation will contribute to achievement of the education leading goal, namely the formation of a person – a citizen, patriot, innovator, future leader of the modern world, capable of working effectively for his own good and the well-being of his country. Social education goals, the implementation of which will contribute to the formation of a stable system of values and beliefs in the growing generation, a clear civic position and psychological stability, the ability to effectively respond to challenges and overcome difficulties on the way to a significant goal have been characterized. Implementation of the specified goals will contribute to the development of the youth's ability to conscious personal and social selfdetermination, self-organization and management of their own life activities, as well as the formation of leadership skills of children and youth, education of leaders capable of making responsible decisions and building a strong state of conscious, socially active citizens, ready to work hard and join forces for the general well-being and sustainable development of the state. The importance of increasing the level of readiness of the subjects of socio-pedagogical activity to design and implement the system of social-educational work in the updated context has been emphasized. This will contribute to the formation of young generation ability to be effective in the modern world, to counteract the destructive influence of the media environment, to manage their interaction with media, to avoid media addiction and use information as a resource for achieving life success, as well as the formation of children and youth ability to self-organize and consciously manage their own and social development.
