FEATURES OF MARRIAGE AND FAMILY INSTITUTIONS OF YOUTH DURING MARTIAL ARTS

Abstract

The purpose of the work is to identify the features of the marital and family attitudes of young people under martial law in Ukraine.Methodology. Methods of theoretical analysis (analysis and synthesis, abstraction and idealization, generalization and systematization, induction and deduction), empirical methods (survey using the following methods: Test card for assessing readiness for family life (I. Yunda), Questionnaire «Role expectations and demands in marriage» (ROP) A. Volkova).Scientific novelty. The main vectors of change and transformation of marital and family relations are identified: the absence of a single normative model of the structural and functional organization of the family and the legitimation of alternative pluralistic forms of marriage; the decrease in the influence of social and religious regulation on marital and family relations; gender emancipation and deformation of the role structure of the modern family; the influence of Western models of marital and family relations; the shift of the system of values of marriage and family towards individualism and privacy; change in attitude towards sexuality and sex; incorrect reproductive attitudes of young people (childlessness, childfree). Among the challenges and threats in the formation of marriage and family attitudes of young people are highlighted: deformation of the sex-age structure of the population; forced migration and resettlement abroad; change in reproductive plans; destruction of marital ties; increasing poverty among families with children; change in family roles and responsibilities. According to the results of the psychodiagnostic study, it was revealed: among young people there is a tendency towards high indicators of readiness for family life, and among girls this tendency acquires signs of stable motivation; the most significant marriage and family attitudes are: personal identification with a partner, emotional and therapeutic relationships, expectations of social activity from a partner.Conclusions. The war and forced mass migration of the population exacerbated the problems of the Ukrainian family, provoked new risks due to the deformation of the sex-age and marital-family structure of the population and affected the ideas and attitudes of young people regarding family relations, changed the motivational structure of the individual regarding marriage and the creation of a family as a basic institution of society.
