Abstract

The article represents the peculiarities of experiencing today's realities of human life associated with traumatic stress in the war conditions, which leads to acute stress reactions and the development of psychotrauma. Study of psychological peculiarities of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) among the civilian population, taking into account the research of foreign and domestic psychologists, will help to find out what psychotechnologies are used and how exactly they affect the strategy of overcoming crisis situations by an individual. The article states that the solution to the problem of finding effective corrective and preventive measures to overcome the crisis in the war conditions remains open, which indicates the need for comprehensive study of this phenomenon. The issue of self-regulation of an individual is one of the most relevant areas of the research, especially in wartime, when mental states play important role in survival. Shocks are replaced by long-term stress, a constant feeling of anxiety, biochemical processes are disrupted, a neurotransmitter imbalance is created, which negatively affects the entire body. Traumatic events are extraordinary not because they happen, but rather because they overload a person's usual coping strategies. The results of diagnosing the psychological peculiaritiess of post-traumatic stress disorders among civilians during the war showed a systematic set and order of functioning of methodological and instrumental means that ensure the relationship of its main components. According to the diagnostic data of the presence of stress disorder in the subjects, we found that majority of 48% of the interviewed civilians have high level of post-traumatic stress disorder, persistent tendency to stress disorder – the average level of stress disorder demonstrate 20% of the subjects, low levels are found among 32% of respondents. The basic rules for a psychologist who works with civilians with manifestations of post-traumatic stress disorder during the war are proposed in our opinion.
