CARPATION FOLK STAGE DANCE AND ITS STYLIZATION IN A BALLET PERFORMANCE

Abstract

The article analyzes the process and considers the peculiarities of stylization of the Carpathian folk-stage dance in the modern ballet performance on the examples of M. Trehubov's "Dovbush's Shawl" in two editions and "The Ilyushin Wing", ballet "Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors" by T. Romanova, N. Korulska. Tregubov's "Dovbush's Shawl" in two editions and "The Jay's Wing", the ballet "Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors" staged by T. Romanova, N. Skorulska and V. Fedotov, the one-act ballet "The Stonemason" by O. Lan, and the new version of the ballet "Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors" staged by A. Shoshin. On the basis of the analysis, the regularities of the choreographer's work in the process of stylization are highlighted. The purpose of the article is to study the peculiarities of stylization of the folk-stage dance of Prykarpattia in a ballet performance. To determine the regularities of the choreographer's work in the process of stylizing folk dance. Research methodology. The research methodology involves the use of cultural and artistic approaches and general cultural methods. Using the historical and cultural method, the dynamics of the development of folk-stage dance in the process of its stylization in a ballet performance is considered. A systematic approach and a comparative method were used to analyze ballet performances. The systematic approach was also used to outline the regularities in the choreographer's work in the process of stylizing folk dance. The hermeneutic method helped to analyze the peculiarities of folk dance interpretation by different choreographers. The comparative analysis was used to study the works of scholars related to the subject of the publication. In general, the study provides a comprehensive approach to the study and coverage of this topic. The purpose novelty of the study is to comprehend the process of stylization of folk-stage dance in ballet performances of the past and present and to outline the patterns of the choreographer's work in this process. Conclusions. Based on the results of the study, it can be stated that the process of stylization of folk dance in the national ballet performance took place according to the canons of classical folk dance. And in the future, it remains the main expressive component of the stage action.
