FOUNDATIONS OF SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY AS A COMPONENT OF PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE OF SOCIAL SPHERE SPECIALISTS

Abstract

Modern processes of globalization and European integration require changes in approaches to professional training of specialists from Ukrainian society, which should be based on a high-quality competency approach. The article examines the importance of the grounds of social responsibility in the formation of professional competence of specialists in the social sphere. Social responsibility is one of the characteristics of the social organization of society and functions as a tool of social control over socio-societal relations. Social responsibility has its own distinctive features that allow it to be considered as an independent type of responsibility. In a broader sense, social responsibility consists of various types, such as economic, political, legal, moral and others. The main aspects of social responsibility and its importance for working with people in difficult situations are considered. It was noted that the ability to be socially responsible is a necessary component of the successful work of specialists in the social sphere. The article also provides recommendations on the development of the foundations of social responsibility in the process of professional training of specialists in the social sphere. Analyzing scientific research, the concept of social responsibility of future specialists in the social sphere is highlighted, the features of the process of forming this responsibility during studies at higher educational institutions are described, and the components and criteria of social responsibility are determined. It is noted that proper development of social responsibility among future specialists in the social sphere is critically important for successful professional activity. It is known that the process of forming this quality is long-term and its success depends on the influence of various factors. Factors affecting the development of social responsibility among future professionals are described, and the possibility of regulating this influence is provided.
