FORMS AND METHODS OF INFORMAL EDUCATION OF SUBJECTS OF SOCIAL-PEDAGOGICAL SUPPORT WITH AN ORIENTATION ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF SOCIAL-EMOTIONAL SKILLS OF CHILDREN WITH ASD

Abstract

The study describes the key concepts of the study: informal education (a process that takes place outside the formal system and provides an opportunity to acquire knowledge and skills that contribute to the development of the individual, increase the professional level and intellectual maturity) and socio-pedagogical support (a system of purposeful actions aimed at creating favorable conditions for the development, socialization and integration of the individual into society, taking into account his individual needs and characteristics). The need for the introduction of forms and methods of informal education capable of providing training for subjects of socio-pedagogical support with an orientation to the development of socio-emotional skills of children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) is substantiated. It is determined that the forms and methods of informal education of subjects of socio-pedagogical support with an orientation to the development of socio-emotional skills of children with ASD should be understood as a set of purposeful educational practices that are implemented outside the formal education system and are aimed at increasing the professional competence of specialists through flexible, innovative and contextually adapted approaches. The main forms and methods of informal education are characterized, in particular online courses, seminars, webinars, master classes, internships, and their potential in increasing the professional competence of subjects of socio-pedagogical support with an orientation to the development of socio-emotional skills of children with ASD is revealed.
