ART-THERAPEUTIC CAPABILITIES OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE FOR SOCIAL ADAPTATION OF CHILDREN AMONG INTERNALLY DISPLACED PERSONS

Abstract

The article analyzes scientific approaches to the use of art therapy as an effective tool for psychological assistance and social rehabilitation of children, in particular those who are in difficult life circumstances. The views of domestic researchers who consider art therapy as a method of healing through creative self-expression, harmonization of the internal state of the individual and restoration of active life activity are summarized. Special attention is paid to art therapeutic exercises aimed at developing the emotional and sensory sphere, overcoming psychological difficulties and forming team interaction skills based on practical experience of working with different categories of the population. It is emphasized that in the conditions of the development of modern technologies and the entry of society into the age of artificial intelligence, new opportunities appear for expanding the tools of social work. The article substantiates the feasibility of using artificial intelligence as an auxiliary tool in the art therapeutic activities of social workers, in particular in the process of social adaptation of children from among internally displaced persons. It was determined that the use of AI can optimize approaches to the provision of social services, but its art therapy potential requires further scientific research and empirical verification. Examples of exercises generated by AI (“My Home”, “My Story in Pictures”, “I am a Superhero”) were considered, and their critical assessment was carried out from the perspective of the child’s psychological safety. The generalization of the results allowed us to identify four main content blocks of art therapy exercises proposed by AI. It was separately emphasized that the AI assistant limited itself exclusively to isotherapeutic (pictorial) forms, without taking into account other possible directions of art therapy
