APPLICATION OF THE MULTIMEDIA TECHNOLOGIES IN THE TRAINING OF THE FUTURE PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS

Abstract

The article is devoted to one of the urgent problems of training future primary school teachers – the application of developmental technologies via multimedia. In particular, the essence of such concepts as multimedia, multimedia technologies, presentation is revealed. The expediency of using multimedia technologies in the preparation of the future primary school teachers is substantiated. The structural components of multimedia technologies, classification of multimedia teaching aids (by functional or methodological purpose), tools (software and hardware) of multimedia technologies, which should be used in the training of future primary school teachers: video lectures, electronic textbooks, manuals, encyclopedias interactive whiteboards, multimedia presentations. The authors single out the multimedia presentation as one of the major functional and effective tools of multimedia technology on the lectures on academic disciplines. Aspects of the organization of practical work on the training course “Pedagogical skills’’ are illustrated. The scheme of using lectures-presentations, which is created with the help of Microsoft PowerPoint and Canva, is presented. The outlined approach is able to help to master the learning content. The article is devoted to one of the urgent problems of training future primary school teachers – the application of development technologies through multimedia. During the research it was determined that the effective way of using multimedia technologies in the education of the future primary school teachers is the work of the section “Fundamentals of using effective presentations”. The development of the section’s structure, its content and its implementation in the educational process will allow higher education students to feel confident during their professional practice. The article contains the approximate structure of the section “Fundamentals of using effective presentations”, content, purpose, forms and methods of activities.
