MODERN INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES IN THE PROCESS OF FORMING SUBJECT SKILLS IN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL STUDENTS IN THE LESSONS OF THE INTEGRATED COURSE “I EXPLORE THE WORLD”

Abstract

The modern educational paradigm of the primary school, which is built on modern information technologies, namely teaching aids, is based not on the transfer of ready-made knowledge, skills and abilities to the schoolchild, but on the inculcation of the ability to acquire the necessary knowledge by oneself, that is, to form the subject skills of primary school students. This process ensures the active use of the student’s independent work, which has the character of communicating with the teacher indirectly using the latest interactive technologies, for example: computer programs and audiovisual means, etc. The use of information technologies must be carried out in compliance with the requirements of the State Standard of Primary General Education. The main purpose of modern information technologies for studying the disciplines of educational fields is to create optimal conditions for the formation of subject skills, individualization of educational activities of elementary school students, increasing the share of independence, ensuring freer orientation in the content of disciplines and better assimilation of material, supporting and developing cognitive interest in learning discipline From the above, we can say that the use of such technologies in the lessons of the integrated course «I explore the world» will allow not only efficient and useful use of time, but will also contribute to the development of students’ interest in the subject. We believe that information technology is one of the effective methods of organizing learning in the lessons of the integrated course «I explore the world», a powerful pedagogical tool that goes beyond the traditional classroom-lesson system and multiplies the possibilities of implementing a person-oriented approach to learning. That is why the use of such technologies in the educational process of elementary school is an effective and interesting medium of information for modern elementary school students.
