Abstract

The article highlights the activity of primary education teachers at the New Ukrainian School for the influence of sensorimotor development on the modeling of plastic materials in the «Design and Technologies» classes. Such a process reveals a sense of beauty and a desire to create beauty. It has been established that the concept of «Technological learning» is widespread in education and upbringing for the development of children in primary education, which is implemented by means of extracurricular and extracurricular activities in the New Ukrainian School. It has been proven that in the educational process, the teaching methods of the technological educational field encourage the active mental and practical activity of teachers in the process of mastering the skills of artistic and aesthetic direction, contribute to the development of their creative abilities, cognitive activity and independence, mastering the skills of professional mastery. It is argued that the use of technological teaching methods helps to make the educational process of one’s own activity not only interesting for teachers, but also effective in the «Design and Technology» lessons. Practical experience of modeling with plastic material, skillfully used one of the types of fine art that affects the mental and aesthetic development of a child of primary school age. In practical activities, the knowledge of primary education students about the approaches and principles of modeling methods, proportions, and familiarization with three-dimensional images of small details is expanded. They also learn to use and perform the necessary small details in the process of learning about technology.The most important and valuable thing to acquire in sculpting with other types of plastic materials is to see and feel the laws of beauty in aesthetics. Practical activity develops children’s fine motor skills, which affects the motor sphere associated with the mastery of objective actions for the development of productive activities. The purpose of the publication is to single out the features of the development of productive activities of students of primary education during the classes «Design and technology» in sculpting. We believe that the development of children’s creativity in the lessons of «Design and technology» from sculpting in different classes of primary school use various teaching methods that stimulate the manifestation of independence, activity, initiative of children, which develop children’s imagination, imagination, creative perception, observation, visual memory at the «Design and Technology» modeling classes at the New Ukrainian School.
