TRAINING PRESCHOOL TEACHERS BY TEACHING THE COURSE “FAMILY PRESCHOOL PEDAGOGY”

Abstract

The article examines the peculiarities of training the preschool teachers in interaction and cooperation with parents of preschool children in order to provide effective education of preschool children. The personal traits of the teacher and their ability to establish effective relationships with pupils, as well as their parents, in order to implement effective family education of preschoolers, have been analysed. It has been established that the systematic application of the latest teaching methods, innovative technologies, non-standard and non-traditional ways in a pedagogical university will help organise a proper professional training of specialists in the field of preschool education. The main criteria for achieving success in the process of interaction between the teacher and the parents have been formulated, namely: the presence of a genuine interest in the preschool child, deep knowledge of the basic laws of his development, effective measures for the individual development of the child’s personality, compliance with the unified requirements of the child-care center and the family in the implementation goals of preschool education, constant selfimprovement and self-development of students. The characteristic features of the training of future preschool teachers to work with the family of a preschool-age child have been clarified. The essence of students’ competence regarding this problem is revealed, the main directions of its implementation are indicated. It is emphasized that the extremely oversaturated modern information flow regarding interaction with parents of preschool children creates obstacles on the way to full mastery of strong practical skills by students. One of the ways to avoid the negative consequences of the described situation is the broad involvement of students in the activities of scientific research laboratories, problem groups, which would consider in detail the modern problems of family preschool pedagogy and take an active part in their solution.
