CRITERIA FOR THE FORMATION OF PEDAGOGICAL SKILLS OF FUTURE PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHERS

Abstract

The article explores the basics of pedagogical skills of future physical education teachers and emphasizes the importance of this phenomenon. The importance of the image of a master physical education teacher is emphasized, because he or she should be able to solve the tasks that face him or her most effectively. Being a student of a higher education institution, teachers should lay the foundation for the formation of pedagogical skills of future physical education teachers, which is the driving force of successful professional and pedagogical activity. The factors that contribute to the formation of the pedagogical skills of future physical education teachers are characterized: the creative potential of teachers is determined by the level of professional reflection; increasing the theoretical level of the content of disciplines leads to an exacerbation of the contradiction between the general goals of education and the ability of future teachers to solve practical problems; the education system is undergoing major changes, including diversification, enrichment of school practice with new educational technologies. The main criteria that can be used to determine the level of pedagogical skills of future physical education teachers are indicated, namely: motivational and value, organizational, activity and content. The motivational and value criterion reflects the system of motivation and value orientations of a future specialist, so we consider it as the ability to motivate oneself to perform specific professional tasks based on a set of existing motives, drives, values, incentives and needs. The organizational and activity criterion, which is used to evaluate the formation of future physical education teachers' pedagogical skills, is used not only to organize the learning process, but also to organize the teacher's activity. Organizational activity of future physical education teachers involves their inclusion in interaction with other individuals involved in the educational process. The content criterion for considering the formation of pedagogical skills of future physical education teachers is a clear and stable system in which the process of acquiring knowledge, skills and abilities that should correspond to certain degrees and qualifications of teachers is consistent and purposeful.
