Abstract

The article reveals the features of the game activity of primary school students in studying colors in fine arts lessons. It is substantiated that gaming activities contribute to the activation of thought processes, affect the emotional and sensory sphere, train willpower, develop self-regulation of younger schoolchildren, help relieve emotional tension, prevent overfatigue, and reduce increased activity of students. It has been determined that the study of colors in fine arts lessons realizes the creative potential of younger schoolchildren, which is an important educational task. Color is a carrier of visual properties, thanks to colors, the volume of form and the placement of objects in space are visually perceived. It is revealed that in game activity the harmonious development of younger schoolchildren is carried out. Game is an independent activity and an important influence of the teacher on students, which is based on the use of various methods of interpersonal interaction. In fine arts lessons, conducting didactic games is an important means of students’ knowledge of the surrounding reality and establishing personal relationships with others. Among the tasks for participants during the game, there is a distinction between learning to think, act, create, enjoy success from gaming activities, and gain practical experience during gaming exercises. It is substantiated that the effectiveness of the conditions for organizing the game activities of younger schoolchildren in fine arts lessons depends on the use of games as an element of the lesson structure, the use of didactic games of visual content, plot-role-playing games, as well as game situations involving fairy-tale characters, toys, an interesting idea in the game task, the presence of elements of competitions.
