ORGANIZATION OF TEACHING CHOREOGRAPHY TO PRIMARY SCHOOL CHILDREN IN OUT-OF-SCHOOL INSTITUTIONS OF UKRAINE IN THE CONTEXT OF TODAY

Abstract

The article examines and analyzes the organization of choreography training for primary school-age children in extracurricular institutions in the present time context. he purpose of the study is to analyze the features of the organization of choreography teaching of primary school children in out-of-school educational institutions. It is noted that the organization of choreography training may currently take place in accordance with the law ‘On Extracurricular Education’ and ‘Regulations on Extracurricular Educational Institutions’ in complex extracurricular educational institutions (palaces and houses for children and youth, centers of children’s and youth creativity, including creative associations by interests such as clubs, sections, ensembles, theaters) and vocational extracurricular educational institutions (primary specialized art educational institutions, art schools, children’s and youth sports schools, etc.). In the process of writing the article, methods of analysis, synthesis and theoretical generalization of scientific and methodological literature were used. The main task and purpose of teaching choreography to primary schoolchildren in extracurricular educational institutions have been determined. The pedagogically valuable experience of organizing choreography training for primary school-age children in extracurricular institutions in Ukraine has been examined and generalized. An analysis of well-known art groups, dance and choreographic clubs, folk, modern and modern sports and ballroom dance ensembles has been given. It has been established that choreography training for primary school-age children in extracurricular institutions is currently taking place in amateur groups and in specialized art institutions. In addition, it has been also found that choreography training in dance and choreographic clubs, ensembles and studios is based on the author’s programs of managers, compiled on the basis of programs for extracurricular education in the artistic and aesthetic direction. The author sees prospects for further research in the further study of the theory and practice of organizing choreography training both in the new Ukrainian school and in out-of-school educational institutions.
