PEDAGOGICAL CONDITIONS OF LEGAL EDUCATION OF CHILDREN OF THE SENIOR PRESCHOOL AGE IN THE CONDITIONS OF THE MODERN PRESCHOOL INSTITUTION

The article considers the problem of legal education of older preschool children in a modern preschool institution as an important condition for adaptation, socialization, legal culture of preschoolers. The psychological and pedagogical features of older preschool children are revealed in order to find accessible and relevant ways of legal education. From the standpoint of modernity, the forms and methods of legal education of older preschool children are presented, the difficulties that teachers have to face during the implementation of legal education of preschoolers are analyzed. The pedagogical conditions of legal education of children of senior preschool age in the educational process of a modern preschool institution are determined. The content of legal education serves as a dominant methodological guideline, which is based on the development of methods and forms of legal education of senior preschoolers in the functioning of a modern preschool institution (V. Ashikov, G. Vasyanovich, N. Vinogradova, M. Gorodisky, S. Kozlova, V. Oksamitna, O. Rileeva, I. Romanova, E. Ruslova). The study is based on four methodological approaches to understanding law, ie the main ways of understanding legal reality: legal positivism; legal objectivity; legal subjectivism; legal intersubjectivity (P. Baranov, S. Maksimov, O. Orlova, E. Solovyov, O. Tatarintseva, V. Tatsiy, V. Chefranov). The scientific novelty of the study lies in clarifying the essence of the concept of “legal education” and revealing the semantic characteristics of the phenomenon of “legal education of older preschool children”. The content of the proposed study provides for continuity between preschool and primary education, in particular, the author’s developments are consistent with the civic competence of the New Ukrainian School. The results of the study confirmed that the content of legal education should be the ideas and concepts to be formed in older preschool children, such as: discipline, responsibility, rules, duty, law, rules of conduct, culture of communication, respect, law, Constitution Ukraine, human rights.
