UNDERSTANDING THE ESSENCE OF PARTNERSHIP IN FUTURE PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITY BY STUDENTS OF THE SPECIALTY 016 SPECIAL EDUCATION

Abstract

The article describes the results of a study of the understanding the essence of partnership in future professional activity by students of the specialty 016 Special education. The necessity of forming students’ partnership skills in accordance with the Standards of Higher Education of Ukraine in the specialty 016 Special Education is substantiated; the role of the concept of the New Ukrainian school in the formation of professional competence of future correctional teachers is emphasized. It is emphasized that in the education of children with special educational needs partnership is interdisciplinary, as education itself is combined with treatment, correctional work, social assistance. According to the results of the questionnaire, students majoring in 016 Special Education mostly understand the essence of the concepts of "partnership", "partnership pedagogy", support the idea of partnership with parents of pupils with special educational needs and realize the importance of partnership with pupils and colleagues. Identified personal qualities and skills, in the opinion of students, are important for successful partnership with students and colleagues. It is established that students do not have enough skills and abilities necessary for the effective implementation of partnership in institutions of special and inclusive education. It has been proven that studying in a higher education institution contributes to the formation of skills of partnership in future professional activity: almost all students say that they fully or partially master them in the process of studying the disciplines of professional training. Based on the results of the questionnaire, a conclusion was made about the need to create a system of training applicants for higher education to implement partnerships with various actors in the educational process and out-of-school institutions.
