Abstract

One of the important problems of performing arts and professional art education is the formation of performing skills of the future music teacher. Attention is paid to the retrospective analysis of the views of prominent specialists on the formation of professional qualities, skills and abilities while studying in the disciplines of conducting and choral cycle. The authors of the article, based on the analysis of scientific research and publications, made an attempt to identify and characterize certain features of the musical performance of a music teacher. They noted that the features of professional training of music teachers are formed by the multifunctionality and integration of professional activities. The semantic characteristic of the specified concept is defined, the principles of training in choral class during preparation of applicants of higher education for the future musical-professional and performing activity are analyzed. The article notes the integration of professional training of music teachers. Realizing the complexity and multifaceted nature of the concept, “performing skills” is seen as a systemic phenomenon that combines pedagogical and performing components. The article considers the performing skills of the acmological approach. It is emphasized that the concertperforming activity stimulates cognitive interest in the study of the general cultural level, professional development of future music teachers. Universal approaches (systemic, axiological, competence) must be constantly combined with individual-personal, which takes into account the features (physiological, mental, ideological, etc.) that are specific to this person and that distinguish him from everyone else. The individual-personal approach appears before the future teachermusician as one of the most important tasks of studying the process of creative formation of personality. The content and special significance of improving performance skills through participation in national competitions and international festivals-competitions, which help students to master the skills to find optimal solutions, solutions to difficult situations, to assess their own capabilities.
