Abstract

The article analyzes the theoretical aspects of the concept of "individual style of a teacher", namely in the context of today and the New Ukrainian School. The need for a new vector of educational opportunities in accordance with the conceptual foundations of the New Ukrainian School, aimed at the future teacher's personality and the formation of his individual style, has been updated. The individual style of pedagogical activity is considered as a set of unique manifestations of the teacher as a personality, person and professional, as a set of unique and stable ways of activity and communication that characterize the individual manner of performing pedagogical activities. Based on the analysis of existing research on the study of the individual style of a teacher's activity as a preference for certain motives, goals, methods of performance and evaluation of activity results, the following types of style are distinguished: authoritarian, democratic, neutral / liberal, emotional-improvisational, rational-methodical, rationalimprovisational, emotional -methodical, etc. Their features, identification and differences are revealed. The proposed classification of styles is based on the following principles: orientation of the teacher on learning outcomes; adequacy - inadequacy of planning educational processes; efficiency – conservatism in the use of means of pedagogical activity; reflexivity – intuitiveness. It is summarized that the main features of a teacher's individual style are: type of communication, character, ability to manage and solve problems, methods of interaction, methods and means of learning, temperament, communication and organizational skills, trust, tone, flexibility, activity, attitude. It was noted that directing the educational process towards humanistically oriented interaction of its participants requires the training of future teachers with the appropriate level of individual style of pedagogical interaction with students. In the professional training of future teachers of the New Ukrainian School, the most important thing is the development of such a style of pedagogical communication and activity that permeates the entire educational process of the primary school, is the highest ability of a professional specialist and requires its constant improvement.
