“STRESS-FREE PARENTING” SOCIAL EDUCATION TECHNOLOGY FOR PARENTS OF PRESCHOOL, ELEMENTARY SCHOOL AND TEENAGE CHILDREN

Abstract

The article defines the following features of the social education technology “Stress-free Parenting” for parents of preschool, primary school, and adolescent children such as: 1) purposefulness; 2) modularity; 3) group-based nature; 4) interactivity; 5) multifunction. The purpose of the study is to substantiate the object, subject, goal, objectives, structure, content, forms, methods, and conditions for implementing the social education technology “Stress-free Parenting” for parents of preschool, primary school, and adolescent children. The object of the technology is parents of preschool, primary school, and adolescent children. The subjects of the technology implementation are social work specialists, social educators as well as teaching staff of preschool and general secondary education institutions. The purpose and objectives of the technology are aimed at developing and forming an integrated set of competencies (health-saving, communicative, social) of parents of preschool, primary school, and adolescent children. The structure and content of the technology consists of three modules: 1) For parents and guardians raising children of different age (eight sessions); 2) For parents and guardians raising preschool and primary school children (four sessions); 3) For parents and guardians raising adolescent children (three sessions). The technology is implemented through training sessions. Methods of implementation: conversation, information sharing, discussion, exercises, group work, case studies, creative tasks. The duration of the technology implementation involves fifteen training sessions for parents of preschool, primary school, and adolescent children lasting 120 minutes once a week. The article defines the conditions for the effective implementation of the social education technology “Stress-free Parenting” for parents of preschool, primary school, and adolescent children.
