DOCUMENTATING AS A COMPONENT OF PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF FUTURE SPECIALISTS OF THE SPECIALTY «SOCIAL SECURITY»

Abstract

The article states that the professional training of future specialists of the specialty “Social Security” is one of the main conditions for overcoming social problems that exist in modern Ukrainian society. It is proved that such specialists must have the knowledges and skills of record keeping in the process of assigning social assistance, compensation, subsidies, benefits, provision of social services etc. The purpose of the article is to highlight the content of the discipline “Documenting in the field of social security” and methods of its study, which will allow students to acquire knowledges and skills of record keeping in the process of professional activity in social institutions and establishments. Tasks and content of the discipline are aimed at acquainting students with the concepts of “document”, “documenting”; features of documenting in management activity; functions and types of documents. At the same time, it is necessary to form a professional attitude to work and competent design of various types of documents in students, on the basis of the following legislative and regulatory documents: “Some issues of documenting of management activity”; the Law of Ukraine “On Social Services”; “State standard of social support for families (persons), who are in difficult life circumstances”; “On approval of the forms of documents that are required for registration for servicing in the territorial center of social services”; “Instructions regarding the procedure for registration and registration and maintenance of personal files of recipients of all types of social assistance”; “The procedure for submission and design of documents for the appointment (recalculation) of pensions in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Compulsory State Pension Insurance”; “Procedure for the formation, maintenance and access to the Register of providers and recipients of social services” and others. Students learn to create different types of documents in practical classes.
