THE USE OF ART THERAPY IN THE PROFESSIONAL TRAINING OF FUTURE TEACHERS OF PRIMARY GRADES FOR THE FORMATION OF A POSITIVE ATTITUDE OF STUDENTS TOWARDS HEALTH CARE

Abstract

Problem. The professional training of future primary school teachers currently requires a more thorough study of the competencies underlying it. The formation of health-preserving competence of students of higher education directly affects the formation of a positive attitude of students of primary education towards health, health care, prevention of harmful habits. The purpose of the article is to conduct a study of the problem of using art therapy in the professional training of future primary school teachers for the formation of a positive attitude of students towards health care. The research methodology is based on the basic modern provisions of pedagogical science, psychology, health culture, and reflects the relationship of methodological approaches to the study of the concept of the process of forming a healthy lifestyle of a professionally successful future primary school teacher. Scientific novelty. The problem of using art therapy in the professional training of future primary school teachers to form a positive attitude of students to health care in the process of professional training in institutions of higher education was analyzed. Conclusions. It is important to use art therapy when working with students of primary education to form sustainable knowledge about health, prevention of bad habits and health care. Art therapy forms constructive forms of behavior; eliminates excessive tension, anxiety and barriers to productive, constructive actions in the health care of children. It is advisable for students of primary education to conduct classes using elements of art therapy. This allows the process of health care to be carried out gently and humanely, relieving the child of anxiety, fears, isolation, and contributes to the formation of health-care behavior.
