CURRENT ASPECTS OF MODERN CORRECTIONAL PSYCHOPEDAGOGY

Abstract

The article focuses on the current aspects of modern correctional psychopedagogy, in particular, the determination of the most productive methodological bases of scientific research in this field, the arrangement of the conceptual and terminological thesaurus of modern correctional psychopedagogy, the development and improvement of a system of methods for researching the problems of pedagogical influence on the development and socialization of a child with intellectual disabilities development, elucidation of the main regularities between the conditions of education, training and personality development of such a child, establishment of optimal organizational and technological methods of ensuring the effectiveness of the corrective influence on the personality with PID, improvement of the pedagogical typology of mental retardation; development of generalized theories and concepts of special education as a basic condition for social rehabilitation of persons with intellectual disabilities; theoretical and methodological principles of teaching children with intellectual disabilities in general education and providing them with a range of psychological, social and medical assistance; the issue of psychological and pedagogical support for children with severe disorders of intellectual development; development of the conceptual and terminological apparatus of modern correctional psychopedagogy. According to the results of the analysis of scientific sources, it was established that correctional psychopedagogy is a scientific and applied discipline, therefore it solves not only theoretical, but also practical tasks. It was established that correctional psychopedagogy is a pedagogical science about the essence and regularities of education, training and upbringing of children with intellectual development disorders, ways of correcting disorders of their psychophysical development.
