PHYSICAL EDUCATION ORGANIZATION FOR EARLY AGE CHILDREN IN PRESCHOOL EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS: MODERN EXPERIENCE

Abstract

The article is focused on the importance of physical education and health improvement for early age children.In accordance with the aim of the article, the state of physical education organization for early age children in modern preschool educational institutions is analyzed. The theoretical analysis method of early age children’s physical education practice in modern preschool educational institutions with the implementation of the authors’ professional experience in this field was used during the work on the article. The educators’ experience of providing various components of physical education and health improvement for early age children is examined: creation of proper hygienic conditions; the organized forms of physical education; self-motor activity; hardening of the body; innovative health improvement technologies; physical culture and playground environment. It is emphasized on the importance of the relationship between these components and the complex impact of physical culture and health improvement means on the physical and mental development of the child. The strengths and weaknesses of the physical education technology realization in early age groups are identified. It was highlighted that proper psychological and pedagogical support for the physical development of early age children is important. Emphasis is set on the significance of the task of raising children’s emotional response to various movements and plays, musical background to physical exercises, physical culture materials, hardening of the body activi- ties, and so forth. The novelty of the work lies in the identification and analysis of the practical realization of the tasks of physical education of early age children, and the analysis of the use of a complex of physical culture and health-improving means. Conclusions are drawn about the necessity of developing and improving the professional competence of educators that is required for successful professional performance in modern conditions. Successful implementing of physical education of early age children depends on awareness of responsible attitude to the issue of health formation of preschoolers, educational process planning, consistent fulfillment of curriculum requirements.
