Abstract

The article analyzes the features of the use of information technology in the educational process of primary school. Information technologies affect the content of education and contribute to better perception and assimilation of educational material by schoolchildren, more dynamic presentation, individualization of learning, development of creative abilities and cognitive interests of schoolchildren, use of various audiovisual tools to enrich content, increase interest and motivation. Information technologies help to form adequate self-esteem in schoolchildren and create conditions for independent activity, self-education and self-improvement of participants in the educational process, acquisition of new knowledge, skills and abilities. The didactic possibilities of computer technologies in the education of junior schoolchildren are substantiated. The use of computers in the lessons in primary school makes it possible to fully implement the main tasks of the educational process, to ensure the development of students in the field of informatization and improve the efficiency of the learning process. The computer is a universal technical tool, endowed with a special communicative property, the essence of which is the ability to constructive and meaningful dialogue with students and create a single functional subject-oriented environment. The computer enhances the intellectual capabilities of junior schoolchildren, affects their thinking, memory, emotions, interests and motives, changes and restructures the structure of cognitive and educational activities. The specifics of the application of multimedia technologies are revealed. Multimedia is a system of integrated interaction of visual and audio effects, which is carried out using interactive software using modern hardware and software that combine textual information, photos, graphics, audio, video, etc. in one digital reproduction.
