CREATION OF VIDEO CLIPS “CHRISTMAS CYCLE” WITH THE USE OF AN ACCORDION

Abstract

Research focused on the analysis of creating video clips "Christmas Cycle" with active use of the accordion as a key musical instrument. The Christmas cycle includes well-known compositions such as "Good Evening to You," "Nova Radist Stala," a cover of "Last Christmas," and the Ukrainian carol motif "Shchedryk." The research aims to study the interaction of the accordion with Christmas musical content and determine the instrument's impact on the visual aesthetics of video clips. Emphasis is placed on creating a unique holiday atmosphere and emotional impact on viewers through the combination of musical and visual expression. The paper analyzes the creative approach to video clip creation, examining the use of cover versions and traditional elements in modern interpretations of Christmas compositions, particularly in the context of "Last Christmas." The work also considers cultural aspects and traditions influencing the perception of Christmas music and video content. The overall idea is to create atmospheric and emotionally rich video clips that replicate the spirit of Ukrainian Christmas and emphasize the importance of music in this festive period. The aim purpose of the article is to reveal and analyze the creative approach to the creation of video clips that include the Christmas music cycle and actively use the accordion as a key musical instrument. Methodology. The work uses an analytical approach focused on a detailed review of video materials dedicated to the performances of accordion virtuosos in the context of the Christmas cycle. The scientific novelty lies in the introduction of an analytical approach to the study of video art in accordion performance, as well as in the identification of specific aspects of visual expression in accordion music. Conclusions. One of the key aspects of studying the interaction of the accordion with Christmas music content is the use of innovative technologies in the creative process. Ukrainian musicians introduce computers, synthesizers, and sound processing programs into their work, which contributes to the creation of a unique sound and the development of new musical trends. Ukrainian Christmas music is an important means of expressing national identity. Many Ukrainian performers actively use music to express contemporary national consciousness, especially in the context of events in Ukraine. The work is aimed at understanding effective techniques and trends in video interpretation of musical works for accordion. The results of the study are useful for music performers, directors, visual artists, and scholars interested in the development of modern forms of visual expression in musical culture.
