Abstract

The article analyzes and clarifies the content characteristics of the basic concepts of the study; the theoretical bases of formation of grammatical competence of future teachers of initial classes are defined. It was found that modern linguodidactics, taking into account the positive experience of different linguistic and methodological schools, organically combines such features of grammar teaching as: unity of content and form, structure of grammatical units and their meanings; combining the study of theory with the formation of practical skills; implementation of interdisciplinary and interlevel relations. As a result of theoretical understanding of much of the research that reflects the search for effective ways (models, approaches, technologies) of grammatical competence of students, it was concluded that the concept of "grammatical competence" in linguodidactics is interpreted as stable grammatical knowledge; skills and abilities of correct use of grammatical forms and observance of grammatical norms in speech; communicative experience, which involves mastering a number of communicative strategies, rules; values that determine the desire for self-improvement, self-realization, responsibility for the speech act. In the study, the concept of "grammatical competence of the future primary school teacher" is characterized as an integrated ability, the components of which are: systematic knowledge of morphological and syntactic levels of language; mastery of grammatical concepts, as well as means of expression of grammatical categories; abilities and skills of communicatively expedient use of grammatical means in speech activity for the decision of speech and mental tasks; communicative experience of using grammatical units in oral and written speech; awareness of the role of grammar in professional and personal development. The following research methods were used in the process of working on scientific research: theoretical: analysis and synthesis during the elaboration of linguistic, pedagogical and methodological literature on the researched problem; theoretical understanding of the basics of formation of grammatical competence of future primary school teachers; empirical: observation and analysis of educational components: "Theoretical foundations of the initial course of the Ukrainian language", "Ukrainian language for professional purposes", "Fundamentals of culture and speech techniques of primary school children", conversations with students and primary school students.
