PATRIOTIC EDUCATION OF YOUTH STUDENTS BY MEANS OF MUSICAL ART

Abstract

The article is devoted to the actual problem of patriotic education of students of the Communal Institution of Higher Education "Lutsk Pedagogical College" by means of musical art. The issues of organizing and holding student volunteer concerts are described. The relevance of the problem considered in the article is due to the fact that the priorities of state policy today lie in the field of improving the spiritual, moral and national – patriotic education of young people. A key role in solving this problem is played by the art of music, which addresses the human mind through feelings, acting as an educator. It is noted that patriotism is the most important spiritual state of the individual and the state, one of the most important elements of public consciousness – a factor in maintaining social stability, mobilizing forces in emergency situations, for which the country must be prepared in advance. It is noted that musical art is the only sphere in which the emotional and moral development of the young generation and its involvement in the highest spiritual values of Ukrainian national culture can naturally occur. It has been analyzed and proved that the huge potential of folk Cossack and shooting songs have special artistic means to form a system of values of the personality of the younger generation. It is noted that the Ukrainian song is a source of centuries-old spiritual experience of the Ukrainian people. a treasury of high moral and emotional feelings. It is proved that the effectiveness of educating the national consciousness of young people by means of musical art. Its influence on the formation and development of the personality of students is described, aspects of the methodology for the formation of national self-consciousness by means of musical art are analyzed. The implementation of the idea of civil and national-patriotic formation of the personality of the young generation leads to the need to form a new stage of musical and aesthetic education in the educational process.
