Abstract

The article notes that aesthetic education is a purposeful, systematic influence on a person with the aim of its aesthetic development, that is, the formation of the creative activity of the younger generation, capable of perceiving and appreciating beauty in art and around them. It is noted that the knowledge of musical art is so multifaceted and peculiar that it stands out from the general system of aesthetic education as a special part of it. It has been proved that in order to solve the issues of musical and aesthetic education among young people, it is possible only with an integrated approach, it is the multilateral creative development that gives the desired positive result and can interest the child's personality in musical art, namely folk songs. Passion for Ukrainian authentic folk songs contributes to the development of abilities, to perceive, feel and understand the beautiful, to notice good and bad, to express themselves creatively, joining various types of artistic activity. It is described that folk song folklore instills young feelings of beauty, contributes to the formation of patriotism and national pride for the Ukrainian people. It is proved that education by means of folk song is not isolated from general aesthetic education and is an organic part of the comprehensive development of a creative personality, taking an active place in the musical, aesthetic and national education of the younger generation. It is noted that Ukrainian authentic folk songs are an integral part of folk art, which existed mainly in oral form and was transmitted only by performing traditions. Folk music, folk melody is an expression of the depths of the collective national Ukrainian folk consciousness through the influence on the listener. It is noted that folk melody and music has an accessible and extremely effective arsenal of means of influencing the spiritual and inner world of the younger generation. Attention is focused on the fact that the primary task of a modern teacher-musician is to attract young people to musical creativity, to form their moral feelings. It has been proven that today it is necessary to show the younger generation the beauty of music, the variety of musical works and images. Spiritual and moral education of the younger generation through the study of folk music should become a priority in the activity of a modern educational institution.
